Hello, I’m Tim and it is time for me to start a website.  Where it will go is not yet set in stone, but I know that you have to start somewhere.   I also realize that having an online presence will open up a lot of options for me personally as well as for my business.

For now this blog will be a catch-all spot for any of the thoughts I want to share on the communities that I am a part of.  I have set up several categories for the communities I am interested in, so feel free to use those to navigate to the topics that are relevant to you.

As for my business, I am the sole proprietor of Pancoast Bookkeeping.  I provide bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses and non-profits and I have been at it for over a decade now.  Most of my clients are located in Kent County Delaware, but I also offer my services online.   I offer a broad range of services, but I don’t do taxes.  I will help compile financials and any reports necessary for my client’s taxes, but I ask all of them to also seek the services of a CPA for tax purposes.

Outside of work I am not the most social person.  I’d rather read a book than hang out with a crowd of people.   Most of my associations are with family, neighbors, church, or politics.   It took me a while to realize that just because I am not the most social person, it doesn’t mean that communities aren’t important to me.  I try to be involved in my communities.  I like to support and improve them to the extent that I can, so I’ve volunteered and tried to serve them my whole life.  It is how I was raised, and now it is part of who I am and aspire to be.
